Eurozone bailout fund ditches English law, shifts to Luxembourg law

According to the Financial Times and various other sources, the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) will start adopting Luxembourg law for all its euro-denominated bonds and bills starting Oct. 1, 2019.

This aligns with our point (sub-section 1.4.1, at 13) to promote civil law over common law in contract formation and other legal matters.
